Kenkou began not in a boardroom but in a kitchen — with four people who shared a conviction. Aakanksha, who spent years watching wellness brands overpromise and underdeliver. Her mother Soniya, who had spent three decades mastering the craft of making food the right way. Ritu, who understood both the science of nutrition and the power of technology to personalise it. And Ram Baboo, whose decades of financial leadership would give the vision the discipline it needed to scale. Four complementary perspectives. One shared frustration with what Indian nutrition had become.
Together they built Kenkou to be different in every way that mattered: formulated for outcomes, manufactured without compromise, and sold with a transparency that the Indian food industry rarely shows. The name itself — Kenkou, Japanese for health — is a reminder that the pursuit of true nourishment is universal, even when the ingredients are proudly Indian.

Aakanksha drives the customer experience, brand narrative, and day-to-day operations at Kenkou. She built the brand from the ground up with a conviction that wellness marketing in India had to become more honest — and that the best way to prove it was to make products that spoke for themselves. Ten years across FMCG, D2C, and functional nutrition shaped her belief that India deserved a nutrition brand built on transparency, not promises.
Ritu leads product formulation and Kenkou's technology roadmap — including the AI-driven personalisation platform currently in development. She bridges nutritional science and engineering, ensuring every product is backed by clinical rationale and built to perform at the ingredient level. Her work spans both the physical product and the digital layer that will make Kenkou's precision nutrition platform possible.
Soniya owns the manufacturing process end to end — from sourcing and quality control to production methodology and facility development. With over 30 years of experience making food the right way, her philosophy is simple: the process is the product. The integrity of every Kenkou item begins and ends with how it is made, and she ensures that standard is never compromised — batch after batch, ingredient after ingredient.
Ram Baboo brings decades of financial leadership to Kenkou, with a distinguished career at Jindal Steel & Power. He oversees financial strategy, capital allocation, and long-term business planning — ensuring that Kenkou's ambition is always matched by the discipline and rigour required to execute it at scale. His oversight of investor relations and fiscal governance anchors the business as it grows.
